OPPLE(603515.SH) does not illuminate its performance. On April 25, the first quarter of 2020 performance report released by OPPLE showed operating income of 1.03 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 38.05%; the net loss attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 7.113 million yuan, a decrease of 108.26% year-on-year; The net loss after deducting non-recurring gains and losses to shareholders of listed companies was 85.051 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 312.18%.

      

For the cause of the decline in performance, OPPLE said that due to the impact of public health security incidents, sales scale and sales revenue declined.

In fact, OPPLE’s net profit declined in 2019. The annual report released by OPPLE shows that in 2019, operating income was 8.355 billion yuan, an increase of 10.55% year-on-year; the net profit attributable to listed shareholders was 890 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.99%.This is the first decline since listing.

OPPLE was founded in 1996. The main research and development, production and sales of lamp lighting, listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2016.

In the 4 years of listing, OPPLE’s net profit in the first 3 years has been excellent. In 2016, OPPLE achieved a net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 507 million yuan, an increase of 16.17% year-on-year; 2017 achieved a net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 681 million yuan, an increase of 34.48% year-on-year; The net profit of shareholders of listed companies was 892 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.03%.

OPPLE suffered a loss in the first quarter of 2020 after its first performance decline since listing in 2019.OPPLE has suffered an unprecedented “hit”.
