Huawei has announced that it will launch the first HMS Ecosystem smartphone, the HMS Honor V30 series, in Europe on February 24.

In mid-may 2019, Huawei and 68 non-us subsidiaries were added to the entity list, it make it hard for Huawei to buy technology and parts from American suppliers, including Google, which owns android.

This has caused distress to the android-based Huawei smartphones. For the overseas markets, the lack of GMS Services has reduced Huawei competitiveness in mobile phone market, because most European consumers are already accustomed to Google Services on android, the core android apps rely on GMS services, including Youtube, Play stores, maps, and Gmail etc, many of the data synchronization and backup functions based on Google accounts are also unavailable.

In the face of difficulties, Huawei decided to launch their own mobile services system, in December 2019, Huawei Mobile services have been conducted in China for the public test.
